    The College of the Desert Football team (4–6; 3–2) wrapped up the 2025 season on a high note, edging out the Los Angeles Valley Monarchs (3–7; 2–3) in a 47–45 shootout in Valley Glen. The victory marked COD’s third consecutive win over the Monarchs and capped the season with several standout individual performances.

    College of the Desert (2-4; 1-0) held on for a nail-biting 24-23 victory over the Los Angeles Southwest Cougars (1-5; 0-1), stopping a late two-point conversion attempt with 95 seconds remaining to secure their first conference win, and first home win, of the season. The victory snapped a four-game losing streak and marked COD’s first home triumph over LA Southwest since 1985.
