Women's Volleyball: Season Review
PALM DESERT, Calif. - College of the Desert women's volleyball wrapped up a strong 2015 campaign, finishing tied for second in the competitive Foothill Conference at 10-11 overall and 7-3 in conference matches.

Seven Lady Roadrunners received All-Conference honors, including three First-Team members.
Top Individual Performances:
10/14 vs. Victor Valley: Sophomore Maygan Zink (Palm Springs, CA/Palm Springs HS) notched her highest assist total of the season, with 50, while filling the stat sheet. She recorded 19 digs, four service aces, four blocks and two kills in a 3-1 win.
10/21 vs. Chaffey: Freshman Savannah Sharp (Palm Desert, CA/Palm Desert HS) drilled a season-high 22 kills in an intense, 3-2 loss to conference champion, Chaffey. It was her second consecutive 20-kill performance, and she also added nine digs with four blocks.
Top Moment:
11/13 vs. Rio Hondo: The unlucky aura of the day had zero affect on the Lady Roadrunners' Sophomore Night performance, as they defeated Foothill foe Rio Hondo 3-1 (25-20, 25-21, 24-26, 25-22). Savannah Sharp led the offense with 19 kills, while sophomore Yajaira Lopez (Desert Hot Springs, CA/DHSHS) recorded seven kills. Maygan Zink aided the attack with 40 assists and four services, while adding 15 digs.
Statistical Highlights:

-Maygan Zink ranked second in the CCCAA in service aces per set at 0.99
-Freshman Shay Mesa (Indio, CA/Shadow Hills HS) ranked 14th in the CCCAA in service aces per set at 0.68
-Freshman Kaylie Edgar (Palm Springs, CA/Palm Springs HS) ranked fifth in the CCCAA in digs per set at 6.36
-The Lady Roadrunners ranked fourth in the CCCAA in team service aces per ser at 2.99
-The Lady Roadrunners ranked sixth in the CCCAA in total team service aces with 242
