Women's Volleyball Suffers Foothill Setback at Victor Valley

VICTORVILLE, Calif. - College of the Desert women's volleyball suffered a 3-2 (25-15, 27-29, 25-15, 14-25, 11-15) setback while on the road against Victory Valley in Tuesday evening's Foothill Conference match.
Freshman Savannah Sharp (Palm Desert, CA/Palm Desert HS) led the ferocious Lady Roadrunner attack, as she drilled 16 kills on 58 total attacks. Sophomore Alyssa Cazares (Indio, CA/Shadow Hills HS) added 14 kills of her own, to go along with five digs.
Sophomore Maygan Zink (Palm Springs, CA/Palm Springs HS) tallied 41 assists, 17 digs and four service aces, while freshman Kaylie Edgar (Palm Springs, CA/Palm Springs HS) added 43 digs and four service aces.
College of the Desert (9-10, 6-2) returns to the court next Wednesday, November 11 for a 5:30 pm match at Chaffey.
