Women's Volleyball Extends Foothill Win Streak to Three

Freshman Savannah Sharp (Palm Desert, CA/Palm Desert HS) paved the way on offense for the Lady Roadrunners, drilling 20 kills on 45 total attacks. Fellow freshman, Angelica Sayo (Palm Desert, CA/Xavier College Prep HS), also notched in double-digits in kills, landing 11 to go along with one service ace and 12 digs.
Sophomore Maygan Zink (Palm Springs, CA/Palm Springs HS) was a crucial cog in the COD offense, as she accumulated 50 assists, four service aces and 19 digs. Freshman Kaylie Edgar (Palm Springs, CA/Palm Springs HS) added to her CCCAA-leading digs average, as she totaled 32 for the match.
College of the Desert (6-8, 3-0) returns home next Wednesday, October 21 for a 5:30 p.m. Foothill Conference match against Chaffey.
