2025 Season in Review - COD Women’s Soccer
Under first-year women’s head coach Manuel “Pato” Hurtado, Desert finished the regular season with a 7-7-6 record overall and 4-3-3 in conference. The Roadrunners placed 4th in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC).
Under first-year head coach Manuel "Pato" Hurtado, the College of the Desert women's soccer team continued its upward trajectory during the 2025 season, finishing the regular season with a 7-7-6 overall record and a 4-3-3 mark in conference play. The Roadrunners placed fourth in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC) and earned their second consecutive postseason appearance.

The 2025 campaign featured several program milestones, including the Roadrunners' first-ever matchup against Orange Coast College and the program's first win over Pasadena City College. Desert recorded eight clean sheets on the season and put together an impressive 5-1-3 stretch from late September through October.
A number of Roadrunners earned postseason recognition for their standout performances.
Sophomore goalkeeper Ana Rojas (Indio Shadow Hills) was named First Team All-IEAC and earned 3CSCA South All-Region honors. Rojas ranked among the conference's top five in all four major goalkeeping categories, finishing first in save percentage (.871), second in goals-against average (0.85), and third in both total saves (74) and goals allowed (11).
Freshman midfielder Savannah Rivera (Thermal Coachella Valley) was also named First Team All-IEAC. Rivera finished in the top 10 in multiple statistical categories, placing ninth in both goals (4) and points (10).
Sophomore midfielder Camile Morin (Fitchburg [MA] St. Bernard's) earned Second Team All-IEAC honors after ranking fifth in the conference in shots (33).
Freshman defender Kamilla Bon (Cathedral City H.S.) was named Second Team All-IEAC after starting 17 of 20 matches and serving as a key contributor to Desert's defensive unit.
Freshman forward Willow Jones (Yucca Valley H.S.) earned Honorable Mention All-IEAC recognition, ranking second in the conference in shots (42) while finishing seventh in goals (5) and ninth in points (10).
Freshman forward Riley Rodriguez (Palm Desert Xavier College Prep) also received Honorable Mention All-IEAC honors after finishing in the top five in shots (39).
Freshmen Aida Sanchez-Gonzalez (Thermal Coachella Valley), Isabella Hernandez (Rancho Mirage H.S.), and Lauren Cornwell (Palm Desert H.S.) were also named Honorable Mention All-IEAC.
