COD Women's Soccer: Palmer signs letter with Bushnell
COD Women's Soccer defender Faith Palmer (Yucca Valley H.S.) has signed a letter of intent with Bushnell University in Oregon.
COD Women's Soccer defender Faith Palmer (Yucca Valley H.S.) has signed a letter of intent with Bushnell University in Oregon.
The 5-9 defender started 18 of 20 games for the 2019 Roadrunners in her only season with Desert, grabbing an assist in a 7-0 win over the Palomar Comets in Palm Desert on November 7, 2019.
Palmer will follow former Roadrunner Taylor Doyle (La Quinta H.S.), who transferred to Bushnell (then known as Northwest Christian) on July 18, 2019. Doyle will be joining the Roadrunners coaching staff for the 2021 season.
Bushnell University is located in Eugene, Oregon and was first established in 1859 as the Eugene Divinity School. The Beacons compete in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, a conference within the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Bushnell University played a shortened Soccer season, moving the fall sport to the winter of 2021, finishing the season with an overall record of 0-11-2 and a record of 0-8-2 in conference play.
