2025-26 Season in Review - COD Women’s Basketball
Under the tutelage of second-year head coach Henry Nguyen, Desert finished the regular season with a record of 12-14 overall and 6-8 in conference. The Roadrunners placed 5th in the Inland Empire Athletic Conference (IEAC).

Throughout the course of the season, Desert had some notable victories as they won against San Diego City. Along with sweeping the San Bernadino Valley Wolverines for the first time since the 2016-17 season.
Sophomore guard Giovanna Espinoza (La Quinta H.S.) was named first team All-IEAC. She was is in the overall top fifteen in the State in two statistical categories: three pointers made (92 – 4th) and points per game (20.5 – 12th) She was in the Conference top ten in four statistical categories: three pointers (54 – 1st), field goals (86-267 – 9th), free throws (41 – 6th) and points (267 – 6th).
Freshman forward Mia Aceituno (Bermuda Dunes Desert Christian Academy) was named Second team All-IEAC. She was in the Conference top ten in three statistical categories: rebounds (118 – 9th), assists (53 – 6th) and steals (42 – 7th).
