Men's Cross Country Places 11th at Palomar Invitational

OCEANSIDE, Calif. - College of the Desert men's cross country placed 11th in this past weekend's Palomar Invitational in Oceanside.

Freshman Jesus Vigil-Torres led the way for COD, as he placed 78th with a final time of 27:32.  Fellow freshmen, Juan Angel Perez (27:32) and Ivan Magana (29:09), placed 79th and 84th, respectively, while sophomore Omar Ciriaco finished with a time of 29:31.

College of the Desert will race again Friday, September 25 in the Golden West Central Park Classic.  Race time is set for 11 a.m.
