COD Men’s Tennis: Kryvchun named PCAC Athlete of the Week

COD Men's Tennis freshman Kyryll Kryvchun (Vancouver (BC) Learning Network) was named the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference's (PCAC) Male Athlete of the Week for the week of February 19th.

According to the release, issued by PCAC Sports Information Director, Tom Saxe, "Kryvchun has led the Roadrunners to a 6-1 start, defeating Diego Mesa 9-0 as he swept Sha Kovacruic 6-0, 6-1 and 7-2 over San Diego City 7-2 when he swept the Knights' Manuel Cordova 6-0, 6-2. Kryvchun also has swept Santa Barbara City College's Guillume Darrell's 6-1, 6-3, Ventura's Solal Cherqui 7-5, 6-1 and Saddleback's Tyler Bloom 6-1, 6-1."

Kryvchun (phonetically "Kriv-Chin") looks to extend his unbeaten singles streak to seven on February 27th at Grossmont College in La Mesa.
