COD Men’s Tennis rolls past the Warriors, 6-3

COD (4-4) traveled to Torrance to take on the El Camino Warriors and took two of three doubles and four of six singles matches to secure their fourth win of the season, 6-3.

Freshman Jakob Dvorken (Ridgewood, NJ) and Freshman Joao Luiz Zillo Prado (São Paulo, Brazil) fought a hard doubles match, going back-and-forth, but eventually securing the victory, 8-5.

Freshman Miguel Nolasco (Thermal Coachella Valley) and doubles partner freshman Clayton Carlson (La Quinta H.S.), easily won their doubles match, 8-1.

Prado, Carlson, Nolasco and freshman Dimitrije Vukovic (Vancouver (BC) Morscrop Secondary) all won their singles matches in straight sets.

The next home match for the Roadrunners is Thursday, March 16th against the New Mexico Military Institute Broncos at 2 p.m.
