COD Men’s Tennis opens up Conference play with a smashing of the Eagles, 9-0

COD (1-1; 1-0) dominated the Mt. San Jacinto Eagles to open up Pacific Coast Athletic Conference play, making the road trip to San Jacinto and sweeping the Eagles, 9-0.

Freshman Dimitrije Vukovic (Vancouver (BC) Morscrop Secondary) and freshman Jakob Dvorken (Ridgewood, NJ) combined in the doubles teams, along with freshman Clayton Carlson (La Quinta H.S.) and freshman Miguel Nolasco (Thermal Coachella Valley) to push past their opponents in their match. The Desert #3 Doubles team of freshman Joao Luiz Zillo Prado (São Paulo, Brazil) and freshman Eleazar Vazquez-Celes (Indio H.S.) absolutely dominated as they shut out their opponents 8-0.

Both Carlson and Prado knocked of their opponents in straight sets in their respective singles matches.
