COD Men’s Soccer has claimed the #10 seed and will host their first playoff game since 1999 in the opening round of the SoCal Regional playoffs.
COD (5-6-7; 1-3-2) took a 0-0 draw into the second half in a must win Conference game, the Roadrunners had to respond to a converted PK, tying the Chaffey Panthers of Rancho Cucamonga (8-7-3; 3-1-2), 1-1.
COD (5-4-5; 1-1) got back on track with a late goal as daylight was fading, to give the home side their first Conference victory of the season, knocking off the Norco Mustangs (7-4-3; 1-1), 2-1.
COD (4-3-4) wrapped up non-Conference play with a hard-fought contest between two teams that would not relent, in the end, a pair of goals within 7 minutes of one another was the difference, as the Roadrunners tied the Los Angeles Mission Eagles of Sylmar (0-7-3), 1-1.
COD (3-2-2) once again faced off in a battle of epic proportions, that featured a very exciting back-and-forth and had a bunch of action as the Roadrunners held off the Cuyamaca Coyotes of El Cajon (0-1-4), 2-2.
COD (2-2-1) finally hosted a home contest, after their first four games were on the road and they did not disappoint, giving something for the home fans to celebrate, as the Roadrunners grabbed their second shutout of the season, walloping the San Diego Mesa Olympians (1-1), 5-0.
