COD Men’s Soccer sends Teran to CSUSB, Gastelum to Hope International and Rivera to Academy of Art University.
COD Men’s Soccer has claimed the #10 seed and is on the road against a familiar foe in the opening round of the SoCal Regional playoffs after winning their first Conference Title since 1999.
COD (7-2-5; 5-0-5) played a fantastic game in the face of a Cuyamaca Coyotes of El Cajon (5-4-6; 4-2-4) offensive attack that took 26 shots, but a goal in the 3rd minute for the Roadrunners proved to be all that was needed in the win, 1-0.
COD (5-2-4; 3-0-4) converted a penalty kick opportunity in the first half and used their shut down defense led by starting keeper Uriel Lopez to roll up the MiraCosta Spartans of Oceanside (2-8-1; 2-4-1), 3-0.
COD (4-2-4; 2-0-4) both teams went into the halftime break tied at 0-0 and then the second half exploded with offense as the Roadrunners scored first and last, grabbing their fourth tie in PCAC play, this time against the San Bernardino Valley Wolverines (4-5-2; 4-0-2), 2-2.
