Jeff Tebelak
Running Backs Coach & Offensive Run Coordinator

Coach Jeff Tebelak brings more than 30 years of coaching experience to the Roadrunners, serving as the running backs coach and offensive run coordinator. A veteran of the game, Tebelak has coached every offensive position over the course of his career, including 13 seasons as a high school head football coach. His versatility, leadership, and passion for teaching the game have made him a trusted mentor to generations of student-athletes.

A product of the Lancers of La Serna High School in Whittier, Tebelak continued his education and football career at Cerritos College, Cal State Fullerton, Whittier College, and Concordia University Irvine. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English and later completed a master’s degree in Sports Science, blending academic excellence with a deep understanding of the game.

Coach Tebelak’s philosophy is rooted in service—helping young people reach their full potential on the field, in the classroom, and in life. His mission at College of the Desert is to mentor student-athletes, preparing them for opportunities at the next level while instilling the values of hard work, accountability, and community.

Deeply committed to the Coachella Valley, Tebelak takes pride in giving back to the community the college serves. He resides in Indio with his wife, Katherine, and their son, Nash, and considers it a privilege to invest in the future of Roadrunner football and the lives of the young men he coaches.
