Brian Parry returns to College of the Desert as an Assistant Coach / Infield Coach, bringing with him a wealth of playing experience across the junior college, NCAA, NAIA, and professional baseball landscapes.
A former Roadrunner standout, Parry played two seasons at College of the Desert and quickly established himself as one of the program’s top performers. His breakout 2022 campaign earned him All-Conference honors, and he played a key role in helping lead the Roadrunners to a conference championship, showcasing both his defensive excellence in the infield and his competitive leadership.
Following his success at COD, Parry continued his collegiate baseball career at Minot State University (NCAA Division II), where he spent one season and again earned All-Conference recognition, reinforcing his reputation as a consistent, high-level performer. He concluded his collegiate playing career at Ottawa University (NAIA) in Kansas, where he further refined his skills, leadership, and understanding of the game at an advanced level.
In early 2026, Parry reached a major milestone by signing a professional contract with the Boise Hawks of the Pioneer League, officially embarking on his professional baseball career and adding firsthand experience from the professional ranks to his résumé.
Now returning to his alma mater as a member of the coaching staff, Parry offers a unique and invaluable perspective shaped by success at every level of the game. His diverse background allows him to connect with student-athletes, guide infield development, and mentor players both on the field and in their pursuit of academic and athletic advancement. Coach Parry’s return reflects the program’s commitment to developing Roadrunners who succeed at the next level—and who come back to give back to the program that helped shape them.
