COD Beach Volleyball splits with Rams and Tigers

Another great and overall very successful day for COD Beach Volleyball. The Roadrunners beat the Victor Valley Rams, 4-1 but lost to Riverside City Tigers, 5-0. 

COD traveled to the 2017 Riverside City Beach Volleyball Tournament at the Pearce Sports Center in San Bernardino, taking on Victor Valley at 11 a.m. and Riverside City at noon.

The team is looking stronger and sharper each week of competition. Head Coach Detlev Rothe stated, he is "wishing we had more matches ahead but everyone starts conference play next week. We'll keep playing a bit more anyway."

Coach Rothe continued, "Want to thank everyone for their support of a great program and something that all of us coaches really enjoyed shaping. With the opportunity to prepare between now and next year we'll be ready to compete with anyone."
